On Saturday 5th April, EMG Symphony Orchestra returns to Exeter Cathedral with a Vaughan-Williams double bill.  EMG Symphony Orchestra is delighted to welcome back soloists Catherine Hamilton and Julian Rippon, as well as the EMG Singers for a performance of the evocative Sea Symphony.  The programme also features the Orchestra’s string section in Vaughan-Williams’ hauntingly beautiful Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, which was voted number 4 in Classic FM’s Hall of Fame 2013.

The concert is in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association, the only national charity in England, Wales and Northern Ireland which focuses on care for those living with the disease, research and campaigning.  The charity works to enable everybody living with Motor Neurone Disease to receive the best care, achieve the highest possible quality of life and to die with dignity.
