Piano recital by Veronika Shoot
in aid of the Friends of St Mary's
We are delighted to welcome back Veronika (Nika) Shoot.
As you may know, Nika gave several stunning piano recitals for us in her early teens. Acclaimed by Yehudi Menuhin at just 6 years old as destined to become a great pianist, Russian-born Veronika Shoot moved to England aged 5, and gave her debut piano recital aged 7.
Countries she has performed in include UK, Russia, Belgium, Holland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Turkey, Germany, France, Israel and South America. She has performed in concert venues in UK such as the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wigmore Hall, The Purcell Room, Steinway Hall, Jacques Samuels, and Dartington Hall where she plays regularly.
Veronika has played with orchestras such as the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Bogota Filarmonica, Royal Tunbridge Wells Symphony Orchestra, Hertford Symphony Orchestra and others under the baton of Diego Masson, Christian Kluxen, Joachim Gustaffson and Tom Hammond.
