On Saturday 21 November EMG Symphony Orchestra returns to Exeter Cathedral with a feast of Russian music. EMG Symphony Orchestra and Marion Wood are delighted to welcome back Romanian pianist Alexandra Dariescu, (who has recently been named as “one of 30 pianists under 30 destined for a spectacular career” in the International Piano Magazine) for Shostakovitch’s magical Piano Concerto No 2. The evening concludes with Rachmaninov’s epic Symphony No 2 in E Minor.
