Elizabeth Jane Baldry and her golden harp Oberon: Two great musical premières in a single weekend - 'The Thief of Baghdad' (1924) harp accompaniment (Jubilee Hall Chagford 7.30pm Friday 27th April) - Fairy Film, 'The Laidley Worm of Spindleston Heugh' with an original score by Elizabeth Jane Baldry - (Exeter Picturehouse 11am Sunday 29th April)

At the end of April there will be two opportunities to hear the magical music of Chagford harp virtuoso Elizabeth Jane Baldry.

First she will provide live harp accompaniment for the screening of a production from the golden age of silent movies - 'The Thief of Baghdad' - at Jubilee Hall in Chagford. (7.30pm Friday 27th April)

Less than two days later we can see the premiere of the latest production from 'Chagford Filmmaking Group' - 'The Laidley Worm of Spindleston Heugh' - with a score written by Elizabeth Jane and recorded in Chagford, with Elizabeth Jane conducting and Elizabeth Jane's concert harp, Oberon, played by Exeter harpist, Emma Graham - at Exeter Picturehouse. (11am Sunday 29th April)

Admission for 'The Thief of Baghdad' is £8

Admission for 'The Laidley Worm' is £7 (children £5)
