'Nonclassical' Modern Music Exeter Bikeshed Theatre Sunday 2 October

At last the 'Nonclassical' record label comes to Exeter with at least two (if not more) concerts of the very best in avant-garde music from the UK, and particularly Devon.

The first concert was organised and introduced by Rebecca Willson. Rebecca is a first class honours graduate in music, having trained in Devon at Dartington College. She teaches violin and piano, and gives recitals to promote exciting new compositions. She is currently working with Gabriel Prokofiev on his 'Joined Up Thinking Projects' which among other things provide teaching at Dartington.

Rebecca gave a piano recital at Exeter Central Library on 14th March this year. Mike Gluyas was there to record her playing and we heard her performance of Somei Satoh's 'Incarnation II' on the 'Classical Journey' last Tuesday.
