Colyton Grammar School Orchestra St Andrew's Church Colyton Wednesday 11 December |
Joseph Gooddy joins us on Phonic FM this Tuesday to tell us about the Colyton Grammar School Orchestra Salvation Army Concert next Wednesday evening. The students have been working hard with Musical Director David House to prepare music by Handel, Corelli, Berlioz, Lauridsen - and a special composition by New England violist Brett Allen, "Nativity Scenes". The orchestra will also accompany a little carol singing, with audience participation.
Next Tuesday (10 December) Abi Marlowe will be hosting "The Mighty Book". She will be joined in the Phonic FM studio by author Tom Vowler for a discussion of his latest novel "What Lies Within" (Headline Publishing 25 April 2013).
Update - Message from Abi: "A chance to win a signed copy of his book 'What Lies Within' "
The next "Classical Journey" will be on Tuesday 17 December.
