FOR EXETER FESTIVAL

"WEIGHTING":
A Premiere by Extraordinary Bodies

Extraordinary Bodies is the UK’s only integrated Circus Company. We make circus for everybody. Our company is made up of professional circus performers of every age and every type of body.  Extraordinary Bodies includes dancer Dave Toole who flew across the Olympic stadium in the Paralympic opening ceremony.

Weighting is the first show of this new ground breaking company. The show will premier for the finale of Exeter’s brand new festival, UnExpected, on 22nd September 2013 on the Cathedral Green.

CHOIR CALL OUT! The music has been written by Dom Coyote, composer and songwriter for the project. We are bringing together up to 200 exceptional singers from a series of local Exeter community and school choirs. Some choirs are already on board but we are still searching for more! We want to bring together a diverse mix of singers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to be part of this exciting performance.

The musical score and song recording has been created (see attached documents). We invite choir leaders and members to look at the material and to join us. Choirs are invited to begin learning the material independently and then come together for 2 intensive rehearsals and the final show.
