acoustic-pop. Atmospheric and at times highly evocative” - 405 Exposure

add some Belle & Sebastian – even the peerless Bon Iver – and you’ll have
some idea of the falsetto-led dreaminess on offer” - Hooting & Howling
Matthew & Me hail from the
wilds of Totnes, Devon , a town known for its
creative flair. Perhaps it’s this
environment that inspires their music of atmospheric, haunting arrangements
blended seamlessly with big, unabashed choruses and beautifully ethereal
vocals.
Matthew & Me have built a
strong live following and reputation, winning the attention of UK press and
finding firm champions in Communion, John Kennedy and award winning producer
Bruno Ellingham - (Doves, Maccabees, Elbow) - who has produced the five tracks
on Matthew & Me’s forthcoming ‘MMXIII’ E.P. Known for breaking traditional
live conventions and sticking steadfast to their artistic guns, Matthew &
Me often create bespoke and imaginative events, performing at an eclectic range
of venues from Elizabethan glasshouses to country estates, boats and Great
Halls. They recently sold out London dates at Hoxton Hall, Book Club and The
Trinity Centre.
Matthew and Me are set to follow
the release of their recent debut single ‘Alright’ with their first E.P. proper
‘MMXIII’. Two of the E.P.’s tracks ‘Modern Life’ and ‘Hide and Seek’ will also
be released on 7” vinyl. Both are released via Quiet Recordings on 15th July.
