Handel's Messiah at South Molton

A major fund-raising event is planned, to take place in South Molton Pannier Market on the evening of Sunday 27thNovember. Currently 170 singers, including the East Devon Choral Society, are in rehearsal every Wednesday evening to give a very special performance of Handel's 'Messiah'.

Food, drinks, and entertainment will be provided in the afternoon by the South Molton Rotary and Town Band, plus local artists. The Messiah will start at 6.30pm.

There is still room for more singers to take part. The staging will allow for up to 200 singers all together. So, if any singers are interested in getting involved, now is the time to contact the organising committee. Experience not essential!

Anyone interested should get in touch before the end of October:
