Carolyn has taken part in many concerts for FORCE over the years, and this time she will be joined by friend and professional opera colleague, tenor Bobby Jeffrey.  Bobby was brought up in Chagford, but Carolyn met Bobby when they were both appearing in Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera at Opera Holland Park, London.
Patrick Taylor is another old friend of Carolyn's since singing together  in the same choir. Last year they gave their first recital together  and enjoyed working together so much they decided to join forces again for these concerts.
Tickets for the Chagford concert are £7.50 (including refreshments). They are available on the door or  in advance from Sally's News, The Square, Chagford.
Tickets for Upton Pyne are £6, and can be bought on the door, or in advance from Veronica Clarke, 2 Robins Court, Upton Pyne. Tel: 01392 841530. Refreshments will be available for a separate donation in aid of Church funds.
Mezzo-soprano, Carolyn Harries  and tenor, Bobby Jeffrey, accompanied by Patrick Taylor, will be presenting songs, duets and arias sacred, serious  - and silly...   ranging from Purcell's theological reflection  Lord, what is Man?  to songs about love, ambition and an Argentinean lady who refuses to dance.
